PHPI™ (Professional Home and Property Inspector): The PHPI™ credential is an earned credential signifying that the member has met the rigorous requirements of PHPIC® and the National Home Inspector Certification Council (NHICC).

PHPI members are the Gold Standard of excellence in our profession and have achieved the highest accreditation available in Canada. We are extremely proud to offer you the consumer Canada's elite.

The NHICC number listed in the table is the certificate number assigned to the home inspector by the National Admissions Board after they have completed all the testing.

Provisional Members are members who have completed the education and background review portion of PHPIC's membership requirements but have not fulfilled the field-testing portion. They must successfully pass a Test Inspection with Peer Review (TIPR) to achieve the PHPI™ designation. Provisional members have 6 months to successfully complete this requirement once their membership is up-graded to this level.

Candidate Members are new members to PHPIC® who are in the process of having their education and a background review completed by our Certification Council to ensure they have met the educational and practical requirements of PHPIC's membership. All Candidate Members must display their Candidate status under our logo and on all printed or electronic advertisements.
